Over the summer, I participated in the Lexington Sister Cities Exchange with our sister city: Deauville, France. It was a life changing experience, and I had the best time. The three weeks I spent in France was truly life changing and it opened my eyes to a whole different culture. The program was set up so each American student was paired up with a French correspondent and lived with them for three weeks in France. After the three weeks, my correspondent came back with me to Lexington and lived with me for three weeks as well. In France, not only did we do typical "tourist-y" things such as going around Paris and seeing the Eiffel Tower, but we also spent time just to walk around my correspondent's town of Honfleur, which is just breathtaking. Here's a picture I took at the harbor after we got ice cream:
If I could have any superpower it would be the power to control time. Imagine if you were in a long, boring conversation and you just wanted to speed through that. If you were in an awkward encounter with someone, you could easily reverse time to before that event and have a do-over.
Other things to know about me: I like spending my weekends at home watching Netflix and eating ice cream. I listen to mainly classical music, I'm not really knowledgeable about today's music anyways. I love all animals, cats mostly, even though I don't have a cat. And my favorite website is www.youtube.com.
