Assignment 3- Doug Vaughan
I've traveled all over america, stepping foot in 43 out of the 50 states. It started when I was young and my family went to places like Disney World, Myrtle Beach, and my aunt in Chicago. However my extensive travels are recent. It all started in 2014 we stayed with a family and their in their cabin in Wisconsin. It was during this retreat they asked us to come with them to Yellowstone next year. We accepted their request and the next summer in 2015 we were packing our car. We decided to make this trip not just about meeting friends in yellow stone but also seeing some great sights of western america. We started our trip by going through Missouri, Kansas, and then turned north at Denver, CO then through the southern part of Wyoming towards South Dakota. In South Dakota we meet our friends and saw Mount. Rushmore. Our next stop was Yellowstone, which was in north west Wyoming. We stayed there for four days with our friends. We then left them and went to the Grand Tetons in Idaho. From there we went to Montana, North Dakota, Minnesota where we saw the mall of america, Iowa where we saw the worlds biggest truck stop, and then back home through Illinois. We were inspired by that vacation so much the next year we went through the south west through the states of Missouri, Oklahoma, Texas, New Mexico, Arizona, California, Las Vegas In Nevada, Utah, Colorado, Kansas, and Missouri. This past summer as I stated in a recent blog I've traveled across the north east. Through Virginia, Maryland, Delaware, Philadelphia Pennsylvaina, New Jersey, New York City, Massachusetts, Connecticut, Rhode Island, Maine, New Hampshire, Vermont, northern New York, Pittsburgh Pennsylvania, and finally Ohio. If you have read this far I just want to thank you for your interest in me. In order to not make this a novel I left out many details about out excursions, but never the less I've traveled far.
