Assignment 14: Doug Vaughan
I love thanks giving because of food and family. My family thanksgiving is extra special because I go to both of my grandparents houses. At one house my aunt visits from Chicago this is special because she doesn't visit often. Since she doesn't travel for Christmas we exchange gifts and presents. We then proceed to munch down on some very appetizing meals such as turkey, mac n cheese, mash potatoes, and my favorite, pizza. I then visit my other grandparents house and eat many desserts. When my brothers, cousins, and I were younger we used to put on plays for the adults. One play was the thanksgiving Olympics. This was particularly memorable as it was one of the stranger ones. It consisted of Pilgrim, an Native american, and a turkey who all competed in different challenges like mash potatoes eating contest, a race, and a wrestling match. It ended with them all deciding to stop competing and have a feast.
