Assignment 15: Anne Nombe
Thinking about technology is probably one of the things that geeks me out the most. It's not the concept of it or the cool things we get from it, but thinking about where it will go. A lot of time, I find myself thinking about the future. Though I feel like we've gotten as technologically advanced as we ever will, I know that we're not. Will there be a day in the future where I don't know how to use the new, hip phone? Will phones even be called phones anymore? Will people a thousand years from now look back at the iPhone X and laugh at how big and old-timey it looks? Will all of our architecture appear to be made by cavemen compared to what's coming down the line? Whenever I ask my friends these questions, they just look at me like I'm crazy, but I think it's an important thing to think about! I also wonder if because we have so much technology now, we won't be like old people fumbling with laptops and iPhones. I really don't want to be that mom who has to ask her kids how to use her communication device, whatever the new device may be by the time I'm an adult.
