Assignment 12: Eli Wrinn

Whenever someone is thrown into a new environment in which they must stay for a while, their natural reaction is to be shy at first. I am no different. However, I know that my roommate will be someone who I will spend lots of time with, so I may try not to come off as shy to seem rude or awkward. In terms of cleanliness, I can't say I would be the neatest person, however, it shouldn't be that much of a problem because what I am known for is having very few material possessions, so the messes that do appear would not bee overly large and therefore not too much of a problem. One thing that my roommate will learn from me is that I will stay in the dorm or house as much as possible--I do not go out often. It isn't that I am antisocial so much as that I appreciate rest time about as much as anything. It also doesn't mean that I would be lazy. If my athletic career doesn't continue to college, I plan to still be a part of multiple activities such as inter-mural sports, volunteer services, or maybe even continuing my music career. Finally, I hope that we share a lot of interests (sports, certain TV shows, etc.) so that if all else fails in college, I have a solid friend who I can always rely on, even if he has no choice because we live together.
