Assignment 14- Sam Underwood

My thanksgivings usually take place in West Virginia, where most of my family resides. I usually do a lot of baking for the holiday seeing as it's one of my favorite past times. I love spending my holiday helping in the kitchen creating pies, casseroles, homemade masterpieces. My strangest memory from thanksgiving is getting "pie'd" in the face from the grandmother. One year, when I was about seven or eight, I was eating pie with an obnoxious amount of whipped cream. My grandma had told me to stop putting whipped cream on my pie. My eight year old self defiantly kept putting whipped cream on the pie so my grandma shoved the plate in my face. My grandma is a quiet and reserved woman who isn’t the type to be known for such outbursts. It was quite the surprise to say the least.
