War remains to be a topic I fear discussing. It's naive of me, yes, but war has never been a topic that's settled well in my stomach.
It's difficult to find a solid foundation to stand on when approaching the topic of war. Would it be ideal if we never saw the world at war again? Yes, but I'm afraid we don't live in an ideal world.
It's human nature to disagree on policies and moralities, etc. etc. Our free will and choice in thoughts is part of what makes us all human. It's also human nature to be stubborn and inflexible at times. However, some groups and organizations are so forthright about their beliefs that they refuse and denounce the beliefs of others, oppressing the rights of those they believe to be beneath them. Other groups or organizations or governments find this wrong and the two clash. Things build up, and eventually one group decides the better option would be to wage war.
Why is there no option of diplomacy? If everyone could just...get along peacefully, there wouldn't be any of this violence and destruction and chaos that we see in the world. But that's not how this world works.
