Assignment 13: Megan Meadors

Dear Parents and Students,

    We have recently become aware of some issues among our staff. After receiving multiple complaints about all departments, we have decided to revamp our entire school day. We hope that this change will be an acceptable solution for recent problems detailed below.
Many parents have brought to our attention the excessive amounts of homework being assigned to their children each day at school. These students go home each day, unable to participate in anything “fun.” This issue has been reviewed by several committees of teachers throughout every department and we have come to a conclusive decision.

    From now on, the school day will be extended by one hour. This solution was brought up to help aid our students by giving them time during the school day to cram for exams and to complete this unnecessary level of homework.

    Though we as staff don’t care about our students’ well-being, we would like to show our minimal concern with this adjustment. Trapping these students at school for an extra hour will allow us to provide them this time while still restricting any free time our students would normally have outside of school hours.

    We thank everyone for their cooperation during this adjustment. If you have any questions please call the school where an answering machine that never gets checked will delete your call or email us at idontcare@gmail.com where your complaint will be put with all the other useless parent emails.
