Assignment 13: Olivia Klee

Henry Clay is Desperately in Need of More Students

With Freddy Douggy High up and running smoothly for the 2017-2018 school year, Henry Clay has lost so many students that its sense of closeness has vanished. An astounding twenty students were redistricted to the new school, and the loss has made a profound impact on the home of the Blue Devil.

"Henry Clay's halls are so empty without those twenty," explains Billy Bob, a junior at HC.

"I just wish there were more people at our school." reveals another student.

Officials at HC report that they are hastily trying to fix the problem by speaking to all middle schoolers in the state of Kentucky individual in an effort to coerce them into attending. But it might be too late for student Fartatooy Fitzgerald, an individual still grieving the loss.

"I never knew them, but I notice that they're gone. Friends of friends of friends, people I've seen on instagram, we were all so close. It feels like our small community atmosphere has been taken a fatal blow."
