Assignment 14: Anne Nombe

For my Thanksgiving, we either stay at home or go to close family friend's house. Often that family friend invites two other families, the same ones each year. We eat a mixture of African and American food, then after, we play board games and the Wii. One of my "cousins" who is 19 now, I think, will usually try to amuse us with his African accent impression. He honestly sounds like all of our dads when he does it, and it's pretty funny. But I don't think my dad has that accent, just that he says some of those things. I sort of like Thanksgiving and sort of don't, because on one hand, I get cook a bunch of stuff and get compliments for it, but on the other, cooking takes 5 years and multitasking while cooking is hard. Plus you have to look nice and presentable for Thanksgiving. I'd rather chill in my pajamas.
