Assignment 15: Elizabeth Piper

The smooth lines on a fresh blank sheet. The colorful post-it notes that line my walls. I have always loved office supplies, some may say I'm even addicted. I love to get the latest pens and try them out on my many pads of note paper. The thought of having a desk full of every office supply imaginable is so appealing and it would be a dream come true. When I am at my desk organizing my many index cards and paperclips among the myriad of other supplies I have I lose track of time. I can't help but be happy. The colors, the smell of the paper, everything is so wonderful.
As a child I always loved to do arts and crafts and now that I am older it seems foolish for me to pull out a sheet of construction paper and start gluing and cutting. I feel that office supplies are the grown-up version of arts and crafts. They are much more useful but you still get the pleasure of playing with your fancy pens and colorful highlighters. It makes it so much fun to write notes and to make lists.
When I want to learn more or get new ideas, I always turn to Pinterest. It is heaven for those who love to organize, take notes and above all love office supplies. I am always get new ideas on how to write my notes and what next to buy to add to my collection of office supplies. Whenever I am feeling down, I always turn to Pinterest and look up all of the aesthetically pleasing notes and pens. It always brings my geeky side to the forefront.
