Assignment 15: Doug Vaughan

I geek out at expansive universes like Star Wars, Marvel, and Lord of The Rings. I guess these things interest me and geek me out as I find totally new societies and history interesting. I could spend hours researching the backstories and history of an expansive universe and enjoy every second of it. I am actually more interested in their fictional history than our real one. As I am typing this I can not stop thinking about the Avengers: Infinity War trailer that just came out. It gives me chills just thinking about it.The same goes for the recent Star Wars trailer too. I just get all caught up in these fictional worlds probably because it seems better or at least more interesting than this one. Would I rather learn about the history of real African nations or the fictional one of Wakanda? Would I rather learn about Chines rice farmers or Tatooine moister farmers? The answer is always the fictional one.
