assignment 15: Luke Taylor

I can geek out over many things from video games to basketball to comic book movies and shows. But the thing that causes me to lose track of time the most is probably drawing and art even though I'm still not all that great at creating it. When I was younger I made several comic books about batman (my favorite hero) fighting a villain name Peanut Butter Nut Head (I'm allergic to peanut butter). The thing gets so interested in drawing is that all my other interests can be expressed in art. Cartoons, comic books, and manga really spiked my interests as a kid. I remember going to the library to check out about 10 different comic books to practice drawing my favorite super heroes throughout the week. I stopped drawing for a while because I was so busy with basketball and music I think I lost to time to do it, but now that I'm not playing basketball I have more time to practice my art. But going back to Cartoons, I'm a huge fan for animation. I have a huge appreciation for animators because they spend so much time working toward their final product, about 2 minutes of animation takes about month to make. Imagine how long it takes to make Disney Pixar movies? That thought alone leaves me awestruck.
