Assignment 9- Sam Underwood

I feel that war can be needed at times. All my life war has been a scary and almost mysterious thing. I knew little of it. It seemed easy to write it off as an “evil” thing that was never needed. As I’ve grown older and learned more about the world around me and the both good and bad it holds, I’ve learned that war happens whether or not it’s the “good” or “right” thing to do. I believe that war can be the right action when a country is inhibiting the natural human rights of their citizen’s. I think that if no political compromise can be made then war is needed. Human rights of the people must be protected. War is destructive, messy, and terrifying but sometimes good can come from war. A better way of living for some people can be a product and I think at sometimes that can be worth going through the pain of war.
