I'm a paranoid person. A lot of things that might not ever even happen to me make me nervous, like being in a mass shooting or being aboard a plane that's hijacked by terrorists. I have plenty of fears, but my biggest fear isn't death or injury.
In fact, what scares me the most is much, much smaller than you'd think. By that, I mean physically smaller. We live alongside them and see them everyday, but that doesn't put me at any more ease.
Yes, the things that scare the most are bugs. I'm not even sure why. I can't stomach looking at a spider on my wall for more than a second before I have to call my older brother to kill it. It's gotten so bad that my little sister makes fun of me for even avoiding the fly swatter. It's not really what they are that scares me, but how they make me tense up and shiver.
How am I going to deal with this when I'm older and have to be the one who kills the bug in the house? I guess I'll just have to wait and see.
