Assignment 6- Sam Underwood

One topic that has been very near and dear to my heart for while is the treatment of sexual abuse victims in third world countries. Many countries don't acknowledge the need for women's healthcare because of their misogynistic centered societies. When I get older I want to study to be an OB/GYN because I find the study of women's health and sexual health both interesting and I see the need for healthcare to be provided in that field. I also can see myself taking women's studies classes in college because of my feminist beliefs. I always think there will be more to learn on the topic and want to be better educated on the subject. For my annotated bibliography project for this class chose topics surrounding sexual abuse in third world countries to the need of sanitary supplies for women in both America and third world countries. I strongly believe that every women should have easy access to the health care (and products) they need.
