Assignment 2- Conner Holt

I'd like to preface this post by saying that I'm not a heavy reader, I only read when the article I'm reading is especially interesting to me.

The Teenage Brain- While this was a required reading over the summer, I found myself enjoying this more than I thought I would. Finding the way things work intrigues me, and this book especially delves deep into the developing mind of a teenager.

Watchmen and V for Vendetta- I'm including these two in the same bullet because they were written by the same author. Both of these are some of my favorite books, even though they are comic book compendiums. They both tackle a heavy social issue, in a very gritty and noir-esc style.

The Hobbit- I re-read this recently, as I purchased it for a group-read project in the 6th grade. The novel is fantastic, as I remembered it being.
