Assignment Nine: Elizabeth Piper

I believe that there are certain reasons that make war a valid and  necessary choice. If a country is deliberately being attacked by another and negotiations aren't making any headway then war would be the choice to go with. Many reasons however thay countries have gone to war for in the past have not been good reasons. Countries are responsible for going to war or at least take steps toward a solution if its citizens are being attacked. It is the job of the country to protect its citizens.
I also believe that countries should not intervene in a war that doesn't have to do with them. War always causes destruction and if it isn't absolutely necessary then it shouldn't happen.
War should never be the first answer. Countries should try to negotiate and take the peaceful route. War should only happen if nothing else works and the citizens of that country are under attack or in danger.
