The bell rings. Everyone gathers their things and files out of the classroom. Many are on their way to the class where they will sit for an hour and learn about Polyatomic Ions, John Adam's Presidency or any other various educational topic. While others stop at their locker or stop for a quick bathroom break. Wherever you are going everyone gets exactly five minutes to get to where they need to be. While some people, like me, scurry their way to class as quick as they can, others like to take their sweet time. Now this can be a nuisance for anyone walking in the hallways. Often, groups form and take up the entire expanse of the hallway and just sit there to chat, blocking the way for other people to get by. They sit there and cackle and tell stupid jokes as loud and as obnoxiously as they can. Often, I will try to scoot by them and go unnoticed but, it never fails that someone will step in my path and block me. This can be very annoying for those of us who are just trying to get to class. As annoying as these groups are the worst are the people who are in fact walking to some destination but if they were a racing a snail, the snail would win. They are often too busy talking or on their phone to walk at a reasonable pace. It is very hard to get around them through the crowded and narrow hallways. The slow walker is what I consider to be one of the most annoying things that can ever occur.
