Assignment Eight – Jessica Ewing

Fears: Abandonment, outer space

Annoyances: Being interrupted continuously, slackers, people who think they're better than everyone else, disorganization, carelessness, stupid grammatical/spelling errors

Accomplishments: All-A student, role in the school play, increasing my vocal range, learning how to play guitar, being a good sister

Confusions: The obliviousness and carelessness of people

Sorrows: Mental illness, weight, self-image

Dreams: Travel the world, see Paul McCartney in concert

Idiosyncrasies: unknown

Risks: Skydiving, backpacking around the world

Beloved Possessions, Now and Then:

Problems: Time management, procrastination (redundant?)

Outer space is one of those things that I honestly don't understand how more people are deathly terrified of it. I can't think straight when the topic of space in brought up in conversation. It's this vast, expansive, endless, gravity-less void of nothing but masses of fiery gas and black holes. Space just keeps going on forever. We don't know where it ends. Not to mention the black holes, which are pockets of space where light doesn't exist because there's so much gravity. No thank you. Just thinking of outer space makes me nauseous and uncomfortable. I'm good to stay on Earth, thank you very much.
