I love TV. More specifically, I love Netflix. All your favorite TV shows are just there, waiting for you to binge watch them.
I've loved TV ever since I was a little kid, wanting to spend hours watching Wizards of Waverly Place and Drake & Josh. Disney Channel and Nickelodeon were basically my entire childhood. As I grew up and entered middle school, I began to lose interest in watching television shows. Then I got Netflix.
Well, I say I got Netflix, but I really didn't. My neighbor got Netflix and they had an unoccupied profile on their account and asked me if I wanted it. So currently, I'm bandwagon-ing on someone else's account. And thus began my adventure down the TV series rabbit hole.
Today, my free time is spent sitting in bed binge watching shows on Netflix. Currently, my time is being consumed by New Girl, more recently, it was Parks and Recreation. I'm the kind of person to only watch one show at a time, I can't start another show until I'm completely done with the one I'm currently on. But that doesn't mean I don't enjoy re watching shows. Sometimes I like to play The Office in the background just to have some white noise on while I'm doing homework. I'll occasionally go back and re watch my favorite episodes of Supernatural.
I watch TV to escape from the world. I become absorbed into the storylines and the characters of the show, envisioning myself if that world. If it's a comedy, I watch it when I'm in a bad mood and I need a laugh.
