Assignment 4: Ben Sanner

I've always believed that dogs have been better than cats. Dogs are the most loyal animal while cats will abandon you for their own good. Growing up my family always has at least two dogs at a time (3 currently) and I've loved it. I love my dogs with all that I do, and I have been trained to dislike cats. Because of this I had a bias of cats as I headed out to Arizona (In previous blogs) on a visit to my Aunt and Uncle.  In Arizona I had an awakening to the fact that cats are just as lovable as dogs and my predisposition was wrong, I also found out that cats are in fact much smarter than dogs, as well as they have much better instincts. While still on my love for cats I returned home with the attempt to convince my parents that our family should get a cat. I went in with a plan to convince them how great cats are, but the impending result was a quick and brief shooting down of my plan.
