I’m really sad to admit I’ve not had time to read as much as I would like, but I can say the few books I have had time to read were amazing!
The most recent book I have read was Room by Emma Donoghue. This book was written from the perspective of a six year old who was locked in a one room house with his mom for his whole life and how he saw the world. It is probably one of my all time favorite books because how the book captured and described everything from the little boy’s perspective. Other than that, I have tried to reread the Harry Potter series. I didn’t get very far, but I still want to go back and finish rereading the series at some point. Then, of course, the assigned summer reading books: The Teenage Brain, and Writing With Style. But those were assigned readings and I didn’t exactly enjoy them, but I read them.
