People watch TV because life is boring. TV serves as an escape from reality into a funnier, awesomer, world. TV is a break from this boring, mundane world we call home. At least that's why I watch TV. I like The Office, Parks and Recreation, Star Trek, and House. I think TV has many pros and cons, it brings people together, it can make people less social, its a good source of entertainment, it wastes time. it is good entertainment, like I said it's an escape, to a world unlike any other. And obviously TV can be a way for advertisements to make an appearance in our daily lives, but advertisements would still exist without TV. TV is an inane waste of time, but a good one. Everyone needs a break sometime, some people like reading, some people like TV.
